Our Philosophy
At Amerikick Martial Arts - Chalfont, we teach children to be leaders; not followers. Our age specific programs focus on character development, bully prevention, self defense and fitness. We stress the importance of good decision making, while teaching kids to avoid troublesome situations, and be positive role models for others.
Your child, regardless of his/her individual ability level, will feel at home in our studio where he will thrive and reach his full potential in our motivational classes taught by our highly trained staff.
It is our hope that no child ever has to use the skills that we teach, but if and when it becomes necessary, every child should have the tools he needs to be safe.

Our Story
Founded in 1967 by Grandmaster Dennis Tosten, Amerikick combines the best of what the many styles of martial arts have to offer. Grandmaster has had the opportunity to train with some of the best martial arts Masters in the world; Ed Parker, Joe Lewis, Remy Presas, and Dr. Muang Gyi to name a few. This allowed him to create a system that combines the arts of Kenpo, Bando, TKD, Shotokan, Wushu, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Filipino Arnis, Boxing and Sport Karate. Your child will learn the kicks of Tae Kwon Do, hand strikes of boxing and Kung Fu, blocks and punches of Shotokan, self defense of Kenpo, and the take downs and ground defense of Judo.
Amerikick's kids' curriculum also offers Sport Karate Training, as well as Weapons training and sparring. All of these components have been carefully selected and designed over the past 40 years to give your child the best martial arts training as he/she strives to achieve his/her blackbelt.
What sets us apart from other martial arts schools is our character development program, which is designed to develop the whole child into leaders at home, at school, and in the karate studio. Your child will learn life skills such as perseverance, self control, commitment, teamwork, and focus; which help your child become successful students and members of the community.
At Amerikick Martial Arts - Chalfont, we offer a different approach to martial arts education. We have several different programs that may suit your needs, or you may choose a month- to month option. There are no contracts - we want you here because you WANT to be here!
