Sensei Christina Fontanarosa

Christina has been training in the martial arts at Amerikick Warrington/Chalfont since she was 7 years old, under the direction of Grandmaster Dennis Tosten. She currently holds the rank of Third Dan blackbelt, earning that distinction with Honors. Christina has been teaching for many years, always encouraging and motivating the students in her classes. She is currently the assistant coach of the Amerikick Regional Competition Team, where she helps to train and critique athletes for competition. She has always had a special affinity for the shy and reserved students, finding a way to reach them and make them feel at ease and at home on the mat. Christina competes in the Amerikick, NASKA (North American Sport Karate Association), and NAFMA (North American Federation of Martial Arts) tournament circuits, placing among the top competitors in the country. In 2014, she traveled to Tuscany, Italy as part of Team USA to compete in the Unified World Championships, where she earned a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal. Christina excels in traditional forms, creative forms, stances and sparring. Her weapon of choice is the kama.  Off the mat, Christina remains involved in community outreach and volunteer work.

Christina is CPR certified.
